Veterinary Assistant – Katrina Liu

Katrina graduated from University of California Davis with a B.S. in Animal Science, which she affectionately refers to as “Farming 101”. Initially, her career began with only dogs and cats, but after an eventful internship at a wildlife rehabilitation center, her interest in exotics and wildlife brought her to the Wildwood team in 2024 as a veterinary assistant and–after asking one too many questions–a part-time receptionist. Perhaps too passionate about animals, Katrina arguably spends too much time at the hospital and can be found haunting the halls even when off the clock. In the future, she hopes to return to school and earn a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine before returning to the Wildwood team as a DVM.
